We will be with you every step of the way from Reservation to Hand-over – but at Hartfell our help doesn’t end at Hand-over – we continue to offer any After-care services you may need to help settle you in and deal with any issues you may have.

To help you understand the process of purchasing a new home with us, here’s our 8 easy steps to Hartfell Home ownership.

Choose your new home and make a Reservation

You’ve seen the new house you love and want to make it your home?

Our friendly Development Site Manager will go through all of the details with you, help complete the various documents including the Reservation Form and help you secure your dream home.

Appoint a Solicitor

You’ll need to instruct a solicitor or conveyancer at the point of Reservation.

If you need our assistance in finding a solicitor, our Development Site Manager can recommend a local independent company.

Mortgage application

Most people will need to apply for a mortgage. We can recommend independent financial advisors to give you the best impartial advice. Use our free Mortgage calculator to find out how much you will pay on your new home

Personalise your new home with Hartfell Bespoke

This is where you can really create the new home of your deams! Our Hartfell Bespoke configurator is where you will find all of the choices and options you can make to create your bespoke home.

As your build stage progresses we will keep you notified when decisions need to be made.

Exchange contracts

This will be moment you know that you are one step closer to moving into your beautiful new Hartfell home – we exchange contracts and your solicitor will transfer your deposit.

Home inspection and demonstration

Your new house will be thoroughly inspected by a Hartfell Director, our Development Site Manager and our dedicated site teams to ensure your home is ready for you to move into. When we are completely satisfied we’ll then invite you to come and see your new home before Completion and show you how everything works.

Handover day

The moment you’ve been waiting for and looking forward to!

All the necessary paperwork will have been completed, all monies transferred and now it’s time for you to move into your beautiful new Hartfell Home and start unpacking…

After-care

Our Development Site Manager, Site Manager and customer care teams will support you every step of the way. You’ll be informed of our After-Care Inspection dates and you’ll receive a dedicated customer care line number to deal with any issues.
